When you use the contact form
The enquiry form on this site is provided by Hushmail, a third-party service. When you submit the form, your name, email address, and message are transmitted to Hushmail’s servers using end-to-end encryption. Hushmail stores this data on servers in Canada, which has an adequacy agreement with UK data protection law. I use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. Enquiry data is retained for up to one year, then deleted.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) and, where applicable, your consent.
When you browse the site
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of advertising. Both services use cookies — small text files stored on your device. These cookies collect anonymised data about your visit, including pages viewed, time on site, and how you arrived.
